You have Manny as #2 P4P and have Cotto and GGG on your p4p list. Please, take the night off.

Robert Garcia hands down, Boxing is more then just a place to learn boxing is where you learn how to be a man, life lessons etc and I dont want my son to learn anything the mayweathers have to teach about life and none of them know how to conduct them selfs as real men except jeff.
              .
^^^^^ Before even considering boxing, I'm considering this. There's about a 0% chance that my son would be around anybody like Mayweather Snr or his kind. Garcia is a man of good character and would would never leave a knocked-out pupil of his just laying in the ring, or use his 1 year old son as a shield around a would-be murderer.

Even if i were just considering boxing, it'd be Garcia. Far more proven. Mayweather snr is a novice trainer. Im convinced Floyd Jnr is a natural talent, and Snr has led nobody else anywhere worth going.

I picked Mayweather Sr. but both are great trainers to take your son too.

I chose Mayweather because I have saw him build a fighter from scratch that gave him the edge.

Although Garcia is a tough SOB and Mexican, he isnt the stereotypical mexican fighter and didnt fight that way. Most of Garcia's guys were established and set in their ways and temperment, but you can tell he had a great influence on lil bro Mikey and he appreciates skills

IMO anyone can throw a bunch of punches but not every fighter will or knows how to parry, dip, slip, slide, roll with punches properly.

Both guys will make sure of this. I voted Floyd Sr. and the poll made me choose but my top 5 trainers I would take my son or train with myself are Floyd Sr., Robert Garcia, Nacho Beristein, Virgil Hunter, or Naazim Richardson

Honorable mention Jeff Mayweather(he is so in-depth and insightful)...Lamont Peterson's trainer(I think his name is Barry Hunter) he molded men and he is so passionate in the corner but doesnt let his emotions get the best of him. He is realist on how is fighter is doing mid-fight

What other fighters has Floyd sr ever coached and been successful with..

Dawson- he proclaimed him a top 3 p4p, and then lost to pascal
Hatton- got brutally stopped by roach's manny
Oscar- didn't really do much there or make a difference..

Honestly, what fighter besides Floyd has he had success with, and roger should get a lot of credit for Floyd as well

Oscar developed a better right hand and he didnt put so much weight on his front foot like he always did.

Its up to the fighters to apply the lessons their trainer teaches.

Just because a trainer teaches things and gives instructions doesnt mean his fighters will apply them in fights.

When I first started boxing, my trainer said a lot of guys look good in the gym shadowboxing, on mitts, or hitting the bags but when they step in the ring, its up to them to apply what I have taught them.

My first trainer I dont remember his name I only trained him a few weeks but my main trainer, Merhav Mohar, said that to me.

Google him, or youtube him....He was only 2 years older than me but had to retire from damage in a fight he suffered a cerebral hematoma
