I think Wilder's opposition hurt him. There are much more tough quality rugged journeyman that they could have picked while bringing him up. He should have been fighting guys like Monte Barrett, Jameel McCline, Danny Williams, Oleg Maskaev, etc.

Rhodes is just teeing off on Nater. I know it's far on the undercard, but the SHOExtreme fights are never competitive.

Someone keep an eye on Brook. . . Don't want him to get "injured" and have to cancel the fight tonight.

Porter is going to blast him to the moon

Danny Williams doesn't have any punch resistance at all any more. I say that as his biggest fan.

I can't wait to see Wilder hit the canvas all 7ft8 of him & with those legs I have every belief that we'll witness a dance that can only be rivaled by David Prices big stiff plumber routine.

Look at those damn legs, they're like little lollypop sticks

McCline possibly. Barrett and especially Williams would be absolutely criminal. I checked out Williams record before his last fight and he's lost something like 10+ fights straight.

Didn't Wilder already render Maskaev completely unconscious and make him twerl around on the floor?

I think his opposition was fine but they needed to test him more before lining him up a shot at a belt. He could have easily had 10 more fights before he should have really been looking for a title shot.

It is what it is though, hopefully he is well adjusted and can deal with defeat well because there is still room for him to grow.
