He would be a great sell, and tap into the White american upper middle class market that UFC has tapped into by having so many white fighters be successful.

White kids in America who never were interested in boxing might look at Chris after he destroys Pacquiao and say if he can do it I can do it too, and maybe they will start training in boxing like they took up UFC wehn Matt hughes, chuck liddell, and randy couture were at the top.
And Algieri will beat Floyd after; He seems hell bent on destruction now

LMAO...Now that would be an amazing story. Algieri would be a megastar and Hollywood would make a movie about him if that happened.

Prov had him down and badly hurt in the first round so why wouldn't Pac who's a better fighter to finish the fight be able to get him out of there in four? If Pac hurts him early I can see him knocking him out.

Pacman is no where near the pressure fighter Ruslan is and Pac hits like a baby compared to Ruslan's massive crushing power, Pac will not drop or stop Chris, he will barely even touch him watch the Mosley fight, Mosley ran all night but didn't throw punches, Chris is just as fast and will actually pepper Pac with jabs as Pac tries to reach and lunge in.

If anyone is getting a KO its Chris, because Pacman will have to chase him and leave himself open, Pacman doesn't have the patience to stand in the middle and bait Chris to go forward like Floyd does when he fight counter punchers, if Pacman is able to actually use patience and bait chris to be the aggressor I would be amazed.

If Chris couldn't even dent Provodnikov's face, then there's no way he's KOing Pacquiao. I think you also underestimate Pacquiao's power. He still has a lot of that AND speed (something Provodnikov lacks), meaning Algieri is going to have to be extra fast throughout the fight to avoid those hits and that's very tough to do. Plus, Algieri will have to deal with Pacquiao's combinations.

Ruslan's defense is pretty poor and that's why Algieri managed to land so many hits on him. Same can't be said for Pac, who will likely see those hits coming and either block or avoid them. He also has enough patience to wait Chris out (as shown in both Rios and Bradley fights).
