Danny Garcia is probably getting 500,000+ to fight a plumber

    There's a trend here
Yeah and as long as the TV networks keep allowing these fights on the air and paying for them its never going to stop. Im no network executive and I obviously don't know all of the details but I would think if they only accepted decent fights when they are dishing out huge purses maybe we wouldn't get so many terrible matchups.

Promoters and advisors are going to jump all over a high paying fight against a lesser opponent every time rather than the tougher fight if they have the option, its the safe bet for their investment and they don't give a **** about putting on the best fights, only making money. Networks have to stop being willing to pay so much for garbage fights so these guys realize if they want a tune up fight they have to take tune up money, not every fight is worth millions.

Manny's manager is too close to his promoter, Im unsure whom interest he serves. From what i read, Manny tried to get his own accountants but his promoter made things difficult. Hopefully im wrong just seems Manny affairs are a mess for whatever reason.

If there was an unlimited supply of money in boxing, then the answer would of course be "no". But there isnt. There is indeed a limited amount of money. So when Danny Garcia gets $1 million or whatever to fight Salsa, thats $1million that is no longer available to make a truly meaningful or interesting fight.
