power and a chin
So, what do you prefer out of these??

Carl Froch's chin has saw him win many fights he wasn't 'supposed' to win.
A chin like that gives you a huge edge. When you know you can absorb anything that hits you without budging, it's a massive edge.
Skills are crucial, but there will be times that even the best get hit clean....better hope you have a chin.Comment

But when Froch got schooled against Ward did his Chin help him a single bit from not getting Schooled? Skills are more important than physical attributes IMO.Last edited by Uklad; 07-20-2014, 01:12 PM.Comment

It did, yeah.
He took a lot of shots, but he was still there and able to win the last few rounds. I'd rather that situation than one where a fast fighter is in control of a fight until one shot lands...see Khan-Garcia.
Skills are obviously crucial, but even the most skilled would lose fights without a solid chin; Mosley-Mayweather as an example.Comment
