Yeah, he didn't chase Adonis Stevenson all the way to Al Haymon/Showtime and a lawsuit for ducking Kovalev (or is Adonis not a power puncher anymore?)

This is what you call blind hatred, folks

So.... there really wasn't any power punchers for him to fight and your post was just to let out some frustration? I gotcha!

Kovalev fought Sillakh, who is a hard puncher.

I think Kovalev has underrated foot speed. Look at his fight with Sillakh.

            Look at 1:18-1:20.

He's got a leaky defense but he makes up for it in other areas. And yes you can come forward and have a great defense.

Yeah, but they won't get the same credit for their defensive ability because people see them taking big shots.

                  What is Kovalev's style? Boxer-puncher?

Kovalev's defense is overrated. Every time I read about Kovalev there are at least 3-4 people who don't forget to tell everyone that "Kovalev's defense is underrated, just the haters don't see that because Kovalev KO's everyone". Ok, I don't say he is a straight forward brawler a'la Rios but when somebody tell me that his defense is good/great that really makes me laugh. His opponents are scared from his power and don't dare to hit him oftenly, but he has holes on his defense and not so difficult to hit. He just hit bigger than others and he's pretty punctual too. Otherwise I think Hopkins will upset him if they'll meet, and Ward would school him easily. This is just my opinion, please leave me alone with the comments like: "Ward still fighting?", "Ward was knocked down against Boone doe", "Ward would clinch and hug him", "Oakland doe...".
I think Kovalev is a good fighter but not as good as a lots of people see him. He's probably the second or third best az LHW.

                      Didn't Ward retire?
