You act like bypassing an unproven Andrade to go fight a legend in Cotto is a bad thing.

Give it time, if Amdrade doesn't self implode, Canelo will eventually beat him and take his title.

      Patience grasshopper.

      You're not actually implying:

      A.) he's ducking Andrade
      B.) Andrade will beat him

Are you? That's foolish and Unwishful thinking.

No he's not. He said this month he feels comfortable staying at 154 his whole career. Even Freddie Roach said

"Alvarez could be a fight for us. I'm not sure [if that's going to be the fight], it depends on what comes next. Alvarez is a big name out there, but he's got a big fight coming up with Lara. If he wins, that could be a fight for us at 154. Some people are mentioning Triple G, but I don't know [if we're staying at 160]. We're going to wait and see what the promoters come up with and go from there,"

Bro I asked a yes or no question, why do you read it as I'm trying to imply something. I said in this exact thread that hes not ducking Andrade I said he doesn't want to fight for a title.

And then I asked the Canelo fans, is Canelo bigger than having a title? I get Mayweather is THE man, but this is a title shot for Canelo.

Its hard to argue who Canelo should fight only because he has such high popularity he can fight anyone. But Andrade called him out, if you dont give unproven fighters a chance how can they prove themselves?

Roberto Apodaca gave Floyd Mayweather who wasn't top 5 in the rankings a shot at the title to prove himself.

He wanted a title so bad he would've fought Lara for his strap. Andrade is a good fighter but his title holds littler merit until he beats a top guy.

If you had to rank the titles, instead of the fighters, where would the WBO fall on that list?

How does this hold any weight in Canelo's career when he fought for the vacant WBC belt against Matthew Hatton

LOL he still won't fight cotto at 154. the reason they were saying "stay at 154 for the remainder of my career" is because there was controversy that he supposedly couldn't make 154, even if he tried. Which is utter bullchit (lara voice)
