Absolutely no energy or urgency in the corner.

As I have said already, it reminded me, after a few rounds, of Wlad-Brock. Wladimir needed someone in the corner, like Manny, to press him, and instil some belief.

    So sad.

Fury isn't anything special, Wladimir lost himself this fight.
Exactly. I said this to a couple of friends in about round. Wladimir was getting nothing from his corner. It's almost as if they were satisfied with his tentative style. Baffling. Wladimir needed some home truths, but he got nothing.

That said, Fury's corner was buzzing! Peter did a great job.

True, I think overall when rounds are so close its probably obvious they'll give it to the guy who is throwing more.
Was a really odd looking type of fight unsure on Wladimir showing his age I personally just think he had the tactics just all wrong and he didn't want to press hard which is exactly what he needed to do.

Yeah but I lost. I saw a 9-1 bet on Fury getting dropped but winning, put a few quid on it but whatever.

Happy that he won. Screw the money, I'm getting it back on Liverpool in a few hours.

A rematch would be fun, but, as you say, Wladimir can be mentally fragile. Last night he needed Manny.
Is it tarnished? I don't think so.

So he didn't beat Joe Louis' record. He's still a historical champion.

Losing once to Tyson Fury, I mean, it is what it is. It's not like it's his first loss. Losing twice? Maybe it'll be better because he didn't dodge a rematch.

Holmes lost twice to Spinks and people still think of him as a great champion.

I don't know. It's either rematch or retire for Wlad.

Not sure if they've been posted, but here are the CompuBox stats:

Both fighters landed 20 percent of their punches, according to CompuBox. Fury landed 80 of 371, whereas Klitschko connected on 52 of 231. In power punches landed, Fury had a 48-18 advantage.

If Wlad would have fought from beginning like he did in last 2 rounds, the fight would have been much better with KO either of fury or volody.

                    Wlad game plan ******

Totally agree. But not many thought that Fury can outbox Wlad from the outside (I didn't either). Now we know he can. So only chance for Wlad is to go all aggression. But that way there is a huge risk of him being KOed.

I don't know should Wlad take the rematch. In the sense he has to, but to go out with TKO/KO loss would be a huge dent on a magnificent career.
