Good post. Agree that Klitschko needs to dump his trainer and give the rematch everything he's got. I'm not particularly looking forward to the rematch since it was an ugly ass fight but I'll be rooting for Klitschko nonetheless.
I don't agree with dumping the coach, Klitschko trains himself. He claims the trainers are only there to advice when he needs it and what they see from ringside.
Klitschko was the issue, not Banks.

To Fury fans Bet me on points over Wilder-Fury, I got Wilder
This is bonkers, Wilder really is a nobody in comparison.Comment

This. Banks was not the problem, Klitschko was.
Always this happens and it is wrong, the fighter has to stand up and take account of his actions, in this instance his inaction. He failed to raise his game, failed to let go of fear and inhibition, if he can not do this in rematch frankly I don't want to see it.
For those doubting Klitschko can I would like them to stand up and be counted as so many Wlad fans stuck their heads out and said Fury would lose to Klitschko. Wlad is and was a great great champion, not the best but one of the best. For Fury to defeat him is a huge measure of the man, he really needs to win his fights outside the ring as opposed to in them also, as he can really unravel, had that fight been going against him could he have turned it around ?
These are now interesting questions Klitschko fans face, I believe we may yet see a different side to a remarkable champion in Klitschko, he should stick by Banks, you don't throw your buddy under the bus because you blew it yourself.
Klitschko was not ready for that challenge as crazy and wild as it seems, he now knows what he has to do and faces the insecurities Fury may yet have more sides to his game too, he hasn't now A side advantage but he has this rematch clause and he has to make sure he is ready mentally inside and outside the ring to make adjustments.
It's simple, if Wlad isn't winning and Fury is doing what he did before he has to attack the weakest ***** in Fury's armour, his susceptibility to huge overhand rights, a straight right without a jab, anything and everything, the kitchen sink Fury used against USS for instance.Comment

The one time Klitschko stepped out of his usual tactic was the end of the 12th, Fury was losing control, if that round lasted another 3-4 minutes things would of been ugly IMHO.
Fury is good, yes. But I don't think he's magical or anything, just his style was Kryptonite if Wlad was superman! I think someone who is just as big as him (Wilder) with insane knockout power will be tough for Fury.
I don't doubt Fury in this fight with Wilder, it's close. I won't be surprised if Fury wins UD, but Wilder is very aggressive.. he's going to apply lots of pressure and his inside fighting skills are notoriously underrated.

Did you watch Wilder-Duhaupas? Wilder is improving every fight. He has jaw shattering power, heart, and frankly is not afraid to engage unlike Klitschko.

At least this fight will be entertaining, as much as I love Klitschko I can admit he can be utterly boringComment

If you read between the lines I think he is saying he still finds it hard to believe he lost, he's become so accustomed to winning. Simply he's had it too easy by one definition, I'm not saying it was easy but his training, conditioning, fine tuning, meticulous preparation amongst other angles I haven't mentioned and have merely forgot haven't been enough.
He is not saying he refuses to accept it, just mourning his loss. The way some will interpret this it really has to be stated.
I think I can understand what he is feeling, Saturday it just seemed unreal, hard to comprehend, I know I'll be referred to to as a fan boy for saying this but I kinda understand the 'Klittard'and 'worst fans in boxing' etc. Following Wlad is I guess like supporting Pete Sampras and Carl Lewis, you honestly believe after a while they are invincible, not quite in the literal sense of the word but you just sort of get swept away by the fact they are so damned good and what feels a sense they are clearly head and shoulders better than the nearest challenger.
Saturday was a rude awakening, a nice one really now I can stand back and take stock of it all. Maybe certain Klitschko fans needed humbling, though I still see the odd one or two refusing to acknowledge or return to reality, I refuse whole heartedly to be that person. You need a sense of perspective with something like this, I changed my sig for that reason alone, I was moping around that night, the early hours of the morning into the morning itself and just thought to myself he simply lost to the better man, clearly he did.
You can't go through a fight not taking chances until the 12th knowing you gotta force the issue as early as the 6th maybe early, I honestly believe Wlad waited for him to tire or make a mistake, he made so few the jab to the body alone extended him to a distance he was unable to utilise his own jab, let alone a striking powerful hook when it was clear the jab was of insignicance and needed to be factored out except for distance could he get his nose in front with the score cards.
Thoroughly disappointed still, that likely won't ever leave me, I'd say I'm still finding the Kessler defeat to Froch hard to digest but accepted it moved on. At least Wlad has a chance to set things right, come back stronger and prove he is a true champion that did not get by this long having been bigger than all previous opposition. This was the one fight he could really make a statement and he blew it by being far too indecisive and refusing to change in the ring until the 12th. He is too stubborn for his own good, and clearly believed he could be patient.
Thank The Lord the rematch clause is still there or I think I would be absolutely gutted/wounded he hadn't the ability to immediately set things right from my standpoint. I'm not saying things aren't right as we have a deserving champion, just from a Klitschko fan perspective.
Wlad really messed this one up, I was always begrudged Vitali never got the chance to silence critics with the Valuev fight, defeating a bigger man considered a live dog, well this was Wlad's and he blew it, BIG time. I think these are the points that hurt most.Comment
