Wlad hasn't faced any guys like that and he can't adapt his limited one dimensional jab jab grab strategy at this point in his career.

Gtfo, Golota was twice the fighter Fury is.

Recent heavyweights like Wach and Valuev are huge but don't have the slick skills/speed possessed by Fury. Also, he has that rare versatility to fight southpaw so comfortably and dominated Chisora in that stance, I thought I was watching a giant Pernell Whitaker!

If Wladimir even DARES to clinch Fury he will got clobbered on the inside until the referee breaks. He has the clear advantage in experience , physique, and punching power (which Fury don't lack) but that's about it.
Prob is Fury has never fought at anywhere near world level, and he doesn't hit hard for his size either. Fury has been able to dominate all his opps for far due to height & reach. He's not really going to be able to use those advantages as much when facing Wlad.

I see it going either two ways, Fury putting up a reasonable effort and going the 12rds. Or being blown out. I favor the latter.

He's not a massive puncher but he hits hard enough to get the job done. I disagree he hasn't fought at world level but I would agree he lacks world level experience against a guy as big as him which is a concern.

          • Tyson Fury is going to pull a Broner and steal Hayden away from Wladimir.

            • Fury will give Wlad his toughest fight in the last 6-7 years I imagine. Wlad is getting too old to easily beat guys like Fury and Wilder without a whole bunch of clutching and grabbing. These guys are too big for that. If Fury stays outside and pops he has a better than 50% chance of winning this IMO.

Wlad has to get old sometime. He will lose one of his next fights against Fury or Wilder..

              • If Fury comes to fight, this should be a good scrap. I just hope both big guys dont attempt at fighting on the outside.

If Wilder is the one to beat Wlad, I think it's time for him to get a new god damn trainer. Like all the top boxers did.

Hes only fought 1 Steve Cunningham and he is a natural cruiser. Its only now in his late age hes jumped to heavy. He could of fought haye, which he would of lost anyway. The only thing that proves a test for Wlad is Furys height and reach, which I expect Wlad to negate.

Its either going to be another clinch fest or Fury will get ko'd.. I'd love Fury to win however I just can't see it.

                      Exactly. Good post.

Fury is a throwback, championship stock type HW with a killer isntinct and the heart of a lion.
