Wlad wouldn't fight Fury if he didn't have to.
Didn't Wlad offer fury a fight earlier and they declined it.

He did, but they don't like to mention it because it does not fit the agenda.

That's what makes it so funny to me that they think Wlad is scared of fury.

        • Just how bad is the Wlad-Fury postponement?

For the 1st time in years, a Wlad fight had fans buzzing. Fury's just as big as Wlad.... ****y to no end.... and certainly with the power to rock Wlad, giving him the puncher's chance. Fury was hyping the fight well... getting in Wlad's face... insulting him in all sorts of manners. I wasn't giving Fury much of a chance, but it was nice seeing someone not just go through the motions in the pre-fight buildup against Wlad. And then THIS happens...

Casual boxing fans go as the HW division goes, so this was a chance to give boxing a well-needed shot in the arm, following that boring Floyd-Pac fiasco of a fight. Then Wlad goes and (ahem) "tears a calf muscle" right after the Batman press conference. What timing....

Sorry to all Wlad fans, but the fishy smell from this postponement doesn't easily go away. A veteran boxing champion, always in tiptop physical condition.... and he pulls a calf muscle before the fight with Fury. Gotta wonder how he avoided similar calamities before his fights against Pianetta, Leapai, Thompson.... and all those other wonderful opponents Wlad was dredging up from the bottom of the creek lately. No pulled calves before THOSE fights, eh big fella?

Personally, I think this leaves a huge void in the HW division. It's not a done deal that the Wlad-Fury fight ever takes place. Fury may decide to move on. A Fury-Wilder fight may even materialize instead of Fury-Wlad. Maybe Wlad will think better of things, take his career earnings, and run. He certainly doesn't need the money.

I'll say this: If Wlad-Fury ever DOES happen, I hope Fury will use the anger and disappointment of this postponement to shatter that fragile glass chin of Wlad's into a zillion pieces.

Torn calf muscle....... a month...... uhhh, yeah..... sounds about right.
I'll believe it when they're getting their pre-fight instructions.

Yeah, well...... Fury engages. That's what happens sometimes in HW fighting. People connect..... people get dropped. Fury got back up and won the fight. Wlad, on the other hand, mauls, clinches, and fouls to avoid having his chin brushed by a stiff breeze. You admire that?

Fury was offered the fight when he was still an inexperienced novice, and was no doubt offered peanuts by the champion.

Fury did the right thing, waited for him to gain more experience, and let the fight build and gain momentum. Then Wlad shat himself when he realised who he was up against.

Yes that is it, Wlad has the demeanour of a scared child. Hard to believe he has gone this long without another loss.
