  • I had a dream a couple of weeks ago where Fury got caught through his guard by a single big right hand from Klitschko. Fury got knocked to the floor and was badly hurt, he tried to get up but was counted out.

One single big right hand was enough. I'm hoping for Fury to win so I hope this doesn't come true, lol.

      No footwork? Check

Now is that a fair assessment? Or even a vaguely accurate one? Of course it isn't, and you'd no doubt feel the burning need to correct me at once. Good. That's exactly what I intend to do with Fury whenever someone makes outrageous statements about his skills and abilities (or lack thereof).

Ironically, what older fans used to claim about Wlad is exactly the sort of thing that's now being said about Fury, only it's the Wlad fans who are primarily doing it! Fury brings that nonsense on his head a lot more due to his generally clownish personality which contributes to the circus act veneer, but he's still massively misunderstood and overlooked by a huge number of people who, if they claim to be boxing fans, should really know better.
are you serious? wlad is quick as hell with his hands for his age and he has very good footwork. no heart? when have you ever seen wlad quit or be counted out on his back? youre so underrating him its not even funny....oops never mind. I just re read your post

He is serious, hence why he isn't taken seriously.

What did this ever do and who did he beat to suggest otherwise?

He's all hype, very carefully matched. He's Wilder (minus the paper title) - a twitter superstar who has suddenly became Klitschko's biggest challenge because...remind me again, why is he rated so high? Because he beat Chisora? Because he almost fought Haye twice?

Povetkin is the most dangerous opponent to Wlad, not this uncoordinated loudmouth.

            Also, thread should be stickied.
Why not? If Tony Thompson, Ruslan Chagaev, Poolev, Chris Byrd and those guys are mentioned on Wlad's very short list of "good" wins, then why not Tyson Fury? He'd most likely beat those guys with ease.

There's very few guys on Wlad's resume I'd doubt Fury to beat - Povetkin, Haye & Peter. That's about it.

Kind of like how everyone feels about you.

It is entirely questionable where Fury places amongst Fury's best wins and there is considerable debate as to whether Fury is even better than ANY that you mentioned.

Fury could very well be one of his better wins but we don't yet know.

Guys like Chagaev for example, are proven!

As for Wlad's opponents, no boxer in history has ever beaten so many good opponents as Wlad, rendering your point particularly irrelvant!

Point out 1, just 1 single HW boxer who has had better?

Will be a very short list!

Chin - Nobody has ever faced more 200+ opponents in history with as fewer losses, or taken shots from such hard hitting opponents and survived to tell the tale. Chin=STRONG

Speed - No 250lb boxer as fast as Wladimir has ever existed.

Stiff - Wladimir has been described as graceful as a ballerina.

Heart - No other fighter has ever picked himself up off the canvas after scares and knock downs OR rebuilt their careers after setbacks like Wladimir ever in history. Heart=IMMENSE!

Footwork - No 250lb, 6'6" fighter has ever had as graceful a footwork as Wladimir, ever!

                  ^Those are the facts!

Fury doesn't compete with that properly, come on!

Those aren't facts. There are no objective measures to many of these so you can only have opinions on them.

                    • Watched the Hammer fight.

I think there were parts in that fight where Fury left his jab out there too long, especially when he went southpaw.

I also saw parts where Fury left himself open after throwing a combination.
