Funny thing is is that I hate Floyd's guts, and am usually arguing the other way against him.

But comparing his opponents to trash like that is over the top ludocricy!

Scale any single one of Ali's 50 odd fighters down to welterweight and Floyd's opponents would beat the living **** out of them, let alone Floyd himself.. Goes for Ali too!

I don't like Floyd referring to himself or being referred to as the GOAT for those reasons too, dislike the man greatly.

But one guy fought elite level boxers almost exclusively and the other fought barely any decent opponents by comparison.

Your post betrays 2 things as well..

Yeah big George was no chop liver, big sluggers like George with solid chins always do well and always have longevity. In the end he amassed so much size and experience he was always going to be difficult to beat. But the version of him Ali beat could barely box and was an absolute moron for losing that fight. It was only through unconventional and foolish means that Ali was even able to win.

As for Frazier, Ali struggled to beat a chinny, featherfisted punchbag half blind dwarf! And lost once (atleast).

Cotto, Alvarez, Marquez, De La Hoya, Hatton. There are 5 boxers of upper echelons of boxing.

None of Ali's opponents were worth a drop, not 1 single drop of piss in the desert compared with these guys! Fact!

And I already said I don't support the dodger...

And Ali fought everyone there was to fight, he's much more courageous than Ali.

But Floyd did fight real opponents, Ali fought a "bum of the month" career by comparison.
