I think whicker could have made his point better. Simply point how on nsb-the biggest and best boxing board-a floyd v ronfa rousey thread gets more posts than any other thread created that day.

Or how posters have created 15 threads about glove choice and all the posts combined are about the same as the canelo lara thread.

Floyd is the epitome of what boxing represents at its best, and at its worst inside and out the ring. The money, the bodyguards, the sister wives, the hate, the love, the brilliance inside the ring, the questionable judgement outside the ring, I mean this is what boxers have always been. Floyd my be unique today because of social media, but he not the kind of boxing personality never seen before.

          Nothing new under the son.

Well yeah, he has all the Power In Boxing right now because he makes the most money FOR BOXING and draws the most attention to the sport (GOOD OR BAD). What ever he wants he will get it, that is great for HIM and his team but bad for the fans and other fighters.

He is not the best ambassador for the sport I am sure even his biggest supports can admit that, he sucks at interviews and he say stuff like "I DON'T EVEN WATCH BOXING" and "I DON'T KNOW WHO THAT FIGHTER IS"

He is just lucky to be in a sport in which being HATED=A LOT OF MONEY! And with him having the SKILLS that allows him to sustain the hate even longer which results into EVEN MORE MONEY! The Arrogant Villain is not Suppose to WIN, so when he wins that brings more and more HATE which for him= MORE AND MORE MONEY.

I don't think I understood the part where they quoted Garcia.
Floyd knocked Diego Corrales down 5 times in route to a tko 10, and garcia got ko'ed by Corrales so I fail to understand what he can tell his kids about it other than he got his ass beat.

Floyd can tell his kids he beat up Corrales in an exciting fight.

              That part was weird.

Floyd is the best in boxing and indeed the centerpiece. Haters can hate all they want, facts are facts.
