          I'm curious. I'm a fan of Floyd's. But honestly, I don't give a rat's left ass cheek about what he does outside of the two hours a year he's in the ring fighting. Why do folks that don't like him spend so much time, even to the point that they're almost on a crusade to discredit everything he does in and outta the ring? Do I think Floyd is a jackass outta the ring? All indications point to yes. If the opportunity presented itself to hang out with Floyd, would I accept? Probably not. Do I think he's destined to go broke and end up alone? Yes. Do I care? Not a bit. For me, when Floyd is finished with boxing or boxing is finished with him. He will join a list that includes the likes of Sweet Pea, Tyson, Toney, Jones, and many others. Great fighters that I enjoyed watching and have fond memories of. But for the most part they're outta sight outta mind.

            The hate I see on this site for Mayweather is borderline obsessive. I can't even begin to understand that mindset. Boxing existed before Floyd Mayweather and will exist after he's long gone. I seriously don't know what some of these people will do once he's gone.

                Nice way to kiss some ass Mark Whicker.. Why don't you also add how Boxing's PPV numbers have been steadily in decline including that of the "Centerpiece" of the sport. Be a journalist, not a fanboy.

                    This is where you expose yourself as a new fan of the sport. Go back and check all the non-heavyweight PPV numbers over the years. New fans of the sport tend to think what Floyd and Manny have been doing is par for the course. Oscar was kinda the first non-heavyweight PPV star of my time as a fight fan. And Floyd is dwarfing what he did. Boxing is in a good place. And in terms of drawing power. Floyd may end "TBE" in that particular category.

                      If Floyd dictates the majority percentage of "the fights you wanna see." It kinda validates the post that you're responding to that love him or hate him, Floyd is the center of your and many others like you's boxing universe.
