I did a few amateur fights and I fought with whatever regulation was in place. I knew the risk, and what it took to get in there. I learned about the hard work, preparation, and sacrifices it takes and this was just amateur so I never pursued it as a career. For a professional boxer who claims to be TBE but all of a sudden was to change boxing by not allowing gloves that have been in place for years because of his health is fkn ridiculous. He's a defensive fighter he should not be getting hit with them anyway. If he wants to protect himself he needs to fight exhibitions with headgear or retire. Every boxer know the risks when he steps in that ring . You Floyd dk riders are the worst

I'm not, I was just wondering why you felt boxing was in your blood. Usually when people say that they have relatives who box.

He didn't ask all that, he asked if your dad boxed.

Well the fighters/warriors who do throw caution to the wind and fight wars have certainly boxed. There's many of them in the HOF.

If I was a pro fighter I would do everything to make sure that I compete on fair playing field.

Random drug testing before and after the fight, me and my opponent wear the same gloves, commission checking hand wraps thoroughly before the fight

thousands of fighters have died or suffered injuries because of negligence, cheaters, and PED

Some people say "health comes first" like its an insult....if it was you in the ring it would
Couldn't agree more.. I've been in the ring a lot and its one thing to sit and type about how he's a diva this and that but fact is he is 37 and if he decides that as the A side he wants to protect the last bit of his career so he can enjoy the rest of his life problem free (didn't make these demands as a young fighter) then so be it ... I would do the same .... he has a family and ice after entertaining us still
