The truth is that when he and Pac couldnt come to an agreement, Floyd fought the absolute BEST OPPONENTS AVAILABLE. Before Pac even existed, Floyd has ALWAYS fought the top 3 fighters in whatever division he was in. Floyd never really had to cherrypick because I think he feels that he is levels above them.

He fights these guys with little to NO hesitation, but after he chooses them as an opponents the writers say, "Oh he MUST be fighting him because he sees some weakness" They did this for his past several fights to make excuses for why he was going to dominate them. This is what you call folklore.

And btw, Floyd is not even my savior or my favorite fighter. Im not biased for or against any fighter but one thing Im not going to do is tare down Floyd just because its the popular thing to do.

I dont know how many times I have to say this, but if you hate him so bad then just focus on the Pac fight not happening. He ducked Pac and you can say it all day and you'd be telling the truth. Now all the mess about how every fighter he fights is too young or old, is pure folklore designed to distract fans from the FACT that all of those fighters where the absolute best at the time he fought them.

Its set up to where Floyd could fight GGG, and they would all say GGG is too slow and its the reason Floyd is fighting him. Im not doing that mess Im a real fan of the sport and I just have to give Floyd props for what he's been doing lately, and for the skills he has shown throughout his career. He's a talent that dont really deserve all the mess you all make up but it is what it is.

Henry Bruseles, Shamba Mitchell, and Carlos Baldomir are indeed bums. But I never referred to THOSE guys as his best opponents. Those were filler fights. Canelo would kill them all.
