Isn't Manny "the people's champ"? how come he didn't take the bigger risk by fighting Mosley who beat all the odds and TKO'd Margarito? why did he go for the easy money? isn't that what Floyd gets shtstorms for?

    again, THE DOUBLE STANDARD.

For some unknown reason Manny Pacquiao is held to this double standard where it doesn't matter that Cotto was shot and drained, Mosley was coming off a loss and a draw, Margarito was coming off a terrible TKO loss, Ricky Hatton was stopped by Floyd etc etc

And now we're gearing up to watch him take on the great Chris Algieri.

            SMH.

Cotto was shot and drained then Floyd fights him like 4 years later lol..GTFO with your non sense. Beside Canelo, there has always been a better opponent for Floyd to fight rather then who he chooses...he retired to avoid about 3-4 guys in their primes at welter. He's a chump, deal with it.. And this Manny would have destroyed that two punch throwing chump.

In my lifetime there are 3 fighters I have witnessed, who, when they were in their absolute physical and technical peaks looked to be unbeatable by any fighter P4p, Bernard Hopkins when he executed Tito in 01, Pernell Whitaker when he gave jcc a complete boxing lesson and the version of Pacquiao who quite literally annihilated Cotto.

Out of all their 4 fights..many say PAC-JMM 2 was the one PAC deserved to win the most. Still was close. The knockdown was the difference to me.

From that fight on to the Cotto fight, Roach helped PAC become more of a complete fighter. 2009-2010... PAC displayed more complete skills while still keeping up with his high energy/high workrate style.
