Asking Maidana not to wear punchers gloves because Maidana has power and Floyd is afraid for his health is the same as Maidana asking floyd not to wear his orthopedic gloves so that he cant protect his fragile hands and therefore wont be able to commit to his punches the way he normally would.

Research before you make yourself look even dumber than you already are. The only thing "custom" about the first pair of gloves that Maidana wanted to wear were the color of the gloves. They were the color of the argentenian flag. It had nothng to do with the padding or lack there of.

Didn't the commission agree with Floyd and say the first pair of gloves weren't legal... and the 2nd set were okay.. but Floyd still objected? I don't get why this is a issue.. don't they agree on this when they sign the contracts? Roy Jones & Tito Trinidad has a similar problem where Roy wanted some gloves that matched his outfit for the fight & they were going back & forth.

Your argument fails, Maidana wearing punchers gloves is not an advantage, punchers gloves are withing the rules of boxing, meaning ANYONE is allowed to wear them, Flloyd can wear them if he wants. It's the fighters choice to what feels better on their hands.

Really bro? You missed the entire point of my post. I didn't say anything about Maidana wearing a "punchers glove". My arguement was the "Custom MX horse hair glove" that he wanted to wear that was rejected by the commission. No boxer should be able to wear gloves that lack padding or where the padding can be redistributed to different areas of the glove (Back loaded or front loaded). Also, check your history, the A side has picked the gloves many times. Oscar did it to Floyd in their fight.

Go on line and look at the videos of those custom gloves he wanted to wear dude. If you don't see the problem, then it's not worth dis*****g it with you. Anybody can see the problem. Those gloves are not the the regular MX gloves, they made them specifically for him and they lack padding. They don't have those Argentina gloves on the shelf at Everlast man. They made them for Maidana. The red pair was different. Youtube it.
