Really bro? You missed the entire point of my post. I didn't say anything about Maidana wearing a "punchers glove". My arguement was the "Custom MX horse hair glove" that he wanted to wear that was rejected by the commission. No boxer should be able to wear gloves that lack padding or where the padding can be redistributed to different areas of the glove (Back loaded or front loaded). Also, check your history, the A side has picked the gloves many times. Oscar did it to Floyd in their fight.

No this isn't the same as Oscar/Floyd. Oscar didn't pay Mayweather to switch glove models the day before the fight for whatever reason, he had what gloves were admissable for floyd to use in the contract, and Floyd went into training camp with full knowledge. He didn't pull an "a" side stunt on floyd no matter how its spun.

Floyd is the best of our era but that's where it stops, it's really not a discussion, and I am one of his biggest fans. That's why people know I am both knowledgable and objective around here and I get the respect, you will never see me overrate a fighter I follow.

Floyd is the best of our era but that's where it stops, it's really not a discussion, and I am one of his biggest fans. what no no....we went because my friends wanted to go see canelo, the huge crowd that was there was mostly canelo fans. There was very few floyd fans but most people there was for canelo. belive me i didnt even took notice of floyd or his leeches.

If Mayweather is so concerned about the gloves, why isn't it a contractual obligation? The fight is signed but Maidana and Garcia are still pushing for the gloves, which mean they can't be contractually obliged not to wear them.
