Maidana, if you have such a big problem with wearing Floyd's "pillow" gloves why didn't you sign up to fight Pacquiao instead?? Manny will not show you any tricks in the ring therefore it would be a war, there would be no glove stipulation, and the fans would welcome such fight instead of Pac-Algieri. Either agree to wear the gloves Floyd wants or stop *****ing because it was you who pursued this rematch. You signed the contract without hesitation.

What a fucking bitch. Grants only make two types of gloves One horse hairs and one custom made for certain fighters called orthopedics for mayweather and Clhazaghe used them too.

Totally agree, that dude was huge on fight night and was trying to act like the Broad street bully.

So many hypocrites on this site, when he wore them to fight Broner nobody had nothing to say, now you've got people in here acting like we don't remember. Also if your boxing speak is "repeating everything that mayweather said in press conferences" you need to serious GTFOH and stop being an idiot. It's absolutely nauseating watching what equates to copy and pasted arguments from Floyd's own mouth. Have your own opinion and your own lingo. May the best man win with whatever equipment they want as long as the equipment is legal and approved. End of story.

That's how it's supposed to be.

Margarito appeared like a beast when all along he was using dodgy tactics. Mayweather just needs to go fight and move making Maidana look ****** then taking him appart after the 4th round. This idea of standing in there like a ****** is unnecessary when he can fight his own fight.
Back in the day, if I'm not mistaken, the commission required both fighters to wear the same gloves. That's not the case anymore.

I hear you, that's the way it's always been. These excuses are ridiculous. The irony is the people talking about health and shhhh don't realize who is more likely to get hurt from those gloves which would be the fighter using them. You are much more likely to break your hand and if you can live with that then wear them. The whole "well oscar made Floyd wear gloves" is dumb. Oscar made him do this before they signed the contract, not after.
