The glove situation in boxing needs to be fixed. Im not saying he wrong to want to use gloves that are approved by the commission, but that the whole situation needs to be properly investigated by the commission.

There isn't much to investigate. The gloves are illegal in some states, vegas is not one of them. It really comes down to the rule book and his gloves have been used in vegas in that same venue in championship fights before. This is a glove used by heavy handed fighters who do not have hand issues. Floyd's glove is damn near orthopedic and commonly used by fighters with hand injury history.

Sorry bro but boxing shouldn't be one size fits all. An 8ounce glove is an 8 ounce glove once approved by the commission. If anything an orthopedic gloves gives a boxer who is injured an unfair advantage to continue their career. There is a reason the NBA has banned specific shoes. The argument you are making is for something that' new to the sport, the cleto styles are a hell of a lot more common place over the history of boxing than you'd think.
