Ok, not a fan of either guy, but can somebody explain why does a guy whos gonna have a 20-25 pound weight advantage is b1tching about some gloves. . judging from the first fight, the only clean blows he connected were rabbit punches so why so much crying . . Maidana needs to be more concerned with whos gonna be the referee, because he was supposed to be DQ'd after round 1 when he landed 14 rabbit punches (i counted) so the gloves should be the least of his worries, if its kenny bayless hes gettin DQ'd for sure.

So I guess its maidanas fault when floyd impliments his "philly shell" defense and ducks down and to the side, cuz thats when maidana actually did hit him there. If I look to the right, and i get hit with a right hook from my opponent and it hits me in the back of the head, its not his fault cuz im the one who moved my head.

you've probably never had your hand in a set of boxing gloves if you don't think there's a difference between a foam glove and a horsehair puncher's glove.

My friends and I used to settle differences "in the gloves" so yes i've worn them before but I haven't wore a variety of different gloves. I'm sure there's a difference but like I said..IMO Maidana in Mx still loses to Mayweather.

If you just watch Mayweather vs Cotto you will seen Miguel was wearing Mx gloves. So this whole safety is first health concern is just ridiculous. He was fine making cotto as comfortable as possible so he could say I beat the best cotto. But after the fight he realized how uncomfortable those punches are and he fears having to deal with that from Maidana.
