This article is severely wrong on all levels. Whoever wrote this piece is lying to the public, plus, omitting the illegal MX gloves Maidana's camp showed up with that had no padding and was wrapped in shrink wrap. Team Maidana was trying to cheat and got caught and its funny how people sweep that incident under the rug like it never happened.

The "A" side always call the shots and the "B" side could agree to fight or disagree to fight, once the contracts are signed there shouldn't be any whining about gloves from team Maidana. Theres been several times when Mayweather had to accept conditions like what Maidana is crying about and Mayweather didn't complain about it. De La Hoya chose Mayweather's gloves for him prior to their super fight and the public never heard Mayweather *****ing, whining and crying about it.

I think he's gotta hold onto that 0 by any means necessary at least until his Showtime contract is up.. Too tied into his marketing persona. Since the fight took place at 154lbs, Oscar keeping in line with the rules stipulated that they both wear 10oz gloves.
