I've seen Rigo in a few different circumstances now. Guillermo is a witty, sharp-tongued guy. He hasn't got personality or charisma on the highest level -- he's not Ali or anything -- but Rigo's definitely pretty good. He's certainly much better than say, Floyd. (If you speak Spanish, of course.)

lol He really does. He's a funny guy. That little joke -- and it was certainly a joke -- says something about his personality. Although it was intended for a laugh, his crack contained a dose of Rigo's ****iness. "El Chacal" knows he's the goods. It was also a nod to the greats that came before him. Guille isn't the first, nor will he be the last, to claim greatness...and not without some justification.

I wonder how much he knows he about the history of pro boxing. You aren't allowed to watch pro boxing in Cuba, right?

Its not that you're not allowed. They don't show it. The only way to watch it was if someone recorded it and brought it over. That's how I watched my first pro boxing fight. When Tyson bit Holyfield's ear off.

I was just about to post something similar. I wonder who he thinks, in his honest opinion, are the best ever. Cause in Cuba besides Ali (cause his name was connected to Stevenson), you dont hear much about others. At least I didnt anyway.

lol You can watch whatever you can get your hands on.

I was wondering the same thing, though, Dok. I would love to know Rigo's true answer. It's possible he doesn't know much about boxing history. It wouldn't surprise me. But it wouldn't surprise me if he did. Honestly, before the joke, I was hoping Guille wouldn't say Kid Chocolate, Kid Gavilan and Jose Napoles. lol

This is actually true. And Broner too. Those guys are too repetitive.

Reminiscent of 17 year old Nas on his debut "Live at the BBQ" back in the early 90's with those sinister yet powerful bars.

Rigo is something special that we will look back on and shake our heads in the future due to how poorly he was handled.

Rigo's situation reminds me of Chava's in a way. Both couldve been greats but didn't get to completely show it. Some people will still consider them greats but they never really accomplished it.

Now I'm craving some Sanchez vs Nelson and Rigo vs Donaire. Lol

Judging from some of the comments on this thread, Rigo is quite entertaining to listen to. Now I want to learn Spanish. How much is Rosetta Stone Spanish?

                    RigonGOD only spits factual statements.

The video reminded me of this though, lol.

Sanchez had a great resume though, not really comparable at all.
