I'd be surprised if Manny drops down to 140.

Pacquiao takes on people with a style not suited for him, that makes him great.

How many times have you seen algeri fight?

Your right he's really taking on a killer but nobody's beating rod salsa

Stop hyping up Algeri into something he's not. This fight for a PPV is a borderline joke people trying to justify this fight are embarrassing themselves.

                Rios - just beat him
Marquez - pricing himself out and wont do VADA.
Provodnikov - just lost (to algeri)
                Alverado - just lost
                Abregu - who?

It's the most we can expect as fans, and people dont realise yet that it's going to be a tough, close fight for Pacquiao. Pacquiao is inevitably going to lose steam after this fight because people expect him to steamroll algeri, and he just wont be able to at all. It's the best fight for business, but perhaps the worse for reputation.
I hate this fight but sad to say I have to agree with this assessment.

                    Nope..

Porter is much more of a threat to Floyd, and so is khan, not to mention Bradley and manny.. Errol spence at welter is probably even a bigger threat

Algieri has one legit world class fight and people think he is the next joe calzaghe..

He is good but def not the biggest threat at welter..

Algieri definetly has some tools but he's not exciting. He doesn't sit down on his punches. I can appreciate a pure boxer but there's nothing about him that says PPV fighter. And I'm not paying top dollar to watch him. Even if it is against PAC.
