    During the first stop of their five city press tour, in New York City, WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. dared Marcos Maidana to "bet his purse" on the outcome of their rematch, scheduled to take place on September 13th at the MGM Grand Las Vegas. Mayweather, who won their May meeting with a twelve round majority decision, feels very confident about his chances to win in the second meeting.

    Maidana's trainer, Robert Garcia, upped the stakes by challenging Mayweather to a "winner takes all" side bet. Garcia says Mayweather rejected the bet by refusing to "shake on it" during their press conference in Chicago.

                  Mayweather is going to beat Maidana by UD easier than he did the first time. I love Maidana, think he's a tough guy, but tough guys don't beat master boxers.

                              For your b*tch ass: If Mayweather buys his gym, then why would Garcia need to be banished? If you buy someone's house, do you then banish them? And what would stop Garcia buying another gym with the money that he sold his last gym for?...This is multi-levelled dumbness.

                              For the thread: I like Garcia's approach - he generally plays his cards just right. Floyd wanna bet 5% of his money vs. 100% of Maidana's money, but doesnt want to bet 100% vs 100%. I like how Garcia illuminates this for the simpletons.
