I would welcome this fight. However I think Canelo want's an opponent with a fan friendly style like Kirkland if it's not going to be a "huge" fight. Let Andrade fight Lara.

I would kind of like to see Canelo fight Carlos Molina and Vanes. It would be cool to see him beat them and sort of rub it in Lara's face. lol

If Lara beats Andrade, Canelo loses a quality undefeated name opponent and a title win. It will be like Ward losing out on Bute.

The Kirkland fight will always be there.

lol.........this "nobody" is the champ, is undefeated, and won the gold in the world championships after beating Keith "one time" Thurman twice qualifying for the Olympics. He made it to the 2008 Olympics and advanced to like the quarterfinals or something. This guy isn't someone to take lightly, he is probably the toughest challenger available at 154.

Is a champ not THE champ. Undefeated but his resume isn't good yet. And if you wanna bring up his amateur accomplishments, Lara spanked the hell out him by like 15 points & Lara just lost to Nelo. (Not gonna front, I Found that out on all access) Lol

If Andrade can't get past Lara then he doesn't deserve to fight Canelo then. That's the point of me wanting to fight each other. Kirkland is honestly not deserving either but he atleast brings an exciting fighting style. It's not fair but Andrade has to "deserve" to fight Canelo because his style isn't as exciting.

I think I'll pass on this fight.... Rather see Canelo vs Kirkland or Cotto. Andrade can go and fight the Molina-bundrage winner.

Canelo vs Andrade is a very good fight. People who say this would not be a good fight are likely Canelo fans who know he would probably lose to Andrade.

Andrade is a top ranked name and undefeated Champion, those are 2 good reasons Canelo should fight him.

We as fans don't get paid based off how much Canelo gets paid so you mentioning his name value and how much the fight would generate does nothing to counter the fact that it would be a GOOD FIGHT.

It would only fuel the fire if he got giftories like he did against Lara and bullcrap scorecard results in his favour like the 114-114 draw he received for his 12-0 shut-out loss to Money May.

Since we are on the subject, let me test your credibility. How on earth did Canelo get a draw on one scorecard against Mayweather? Would you agree that it is reasonably safe to say that a judge or judges were offered bonuses to rigg their scores for Canelo and that one of them bit the bait and still did it even after the ridiculously one sided boxing clinic that Canelo recieved?

Yes. I watched the fight and me, HBO's ringside judge and everybody with common sense scored it similar.

Give Andrade Andy Lee, then perhaps a Kirkland/Trout/Lara...then revisit.

My pick for best fighter at 154 has been Andrade for a while, I think he'd beat Canelo if they fought in November, but this fight could wait as Canelo has bigger fish to fry. Neither guy is going anywhere.
