Cotto beat Martinez at a catch weight, that's not being a true champion.

He may be a true champion in other areas but he's not the epitome of it.
Cotto's had 3 catchweights in his entire career... Canelo has had 3 catchweights in his last 3 fights, maybe try to avoid that topic.

Its not that everyone is AVOIDING Lara, its just that people can't run fast enough to catch up to him. Also I dont think Canelo beat trout...

Canelo arguably lost the Trout and the Lara fight (two close fights). A Canelo/Cotto is 50/50. Canelo has not dominated a top fighter.

Triple GGG would stop Cotto IMO.

Didnt Canelo win his WBC 154 pound belt by way of vacant against a welterweight in Mathew Hatton? and if my memory is right Canelo has 3 catchweights in his last 4 fights? right? Right?

One that he had to go lower in. I see how you're trying to spin it but just FYI, I'm not calling Canelo the epitome of a warrior either. He's a diva just like Cotto.

He actually came overweight for his 'first' title fight being even at a CW. Normally, you lose the title on the scales before the fight even starts how he got it he should thank his yayo WBC connect.

And like WBO doesn't hook up PR boxers? lol

Fact is, Cotto is NOT a true champion and neither is Canelo. Both definitely aren't the epitome of a warrior.

And if you want to get technical. The catch weights that Canelo did also benefit the fighters he was facing Angulo/Lara as well as him. This wasn't a drain in progress type like Cotto's to Margarito/Martinez.
