It does because he hasn't done it since 2008 for a reason. He's fighting at a higher level now so you need 12 week training camps plus time to recover after fasting.

I know there are some posters who fantasize Brook winning only to show Khan the finger, but sorry, because Brook's team is already targeting Khan.

Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport is confident that Kell Brook (32-0, 22KOs) will make good on his career expectations by defeating Shawn Porter (24-0-1,

Brook winning a title would be his first U.S. soil fight and you really think he'd get Pac-May fight on a PPV?

      Agreed.

Again Khan isn't fighting till December. Also that excuse hasn't happened now though has it? So, why stress?

As for the belt part, Guerrero brings a name a proven one for that matter. Thurman does neither a belt nor a name.

WBA interim title lol. Come one now really?

I'm not making this about belts, but the point is that Khan has to gain something by fighting Thurman or anyone. Porter-Brook winner is perfect in that sense, because a belt makes Khan an attractive option over night (starpower PLUS a belt), but if he gets Maidana rematch in Dec or Guerrero then those guys are proven names that also help his case for Floyd.

      Belt or a Name.

We all assume things, but you take it to the next level.

Well, he is just not a big name nor have a title. A fight is only as meaningful as the options you'll have after going through with it win or lose. If Khan beats Thurman "he beat a hype job" and if he loses then he's done. High risk and no reward. If he fights Guerrero, Maidana or Brook-Porter winner there is something to gain. If not a belt then a name.

Guerrero after losing to Salido, came back and picked up two wins over Top 10 WW's in Berto and Aydin.

Cotto though he didn't really much after losing to Manny aside from Yuri Foreman which was decent I guess.....he's Miguel Cotto. He's instantly better than Amir Khan.

Ortiz after losing to Maidana came back and got a should be W over Peterson, and beat down undefeated Berto. Better than Collazo.

And Mosley after losing to Cotto went on to beat Margarito. Better than Collazo.

          There's the difference.
Ortiz didn't beat Peterson. That was a draw. Also Berto went life and death with Collazo and some had Collazo winning.

And Maidana Could Have Khan Problems, Alexander Problems; What's The Difference

Floyd has a ducking problem. He says who Khan has problems to fix with, who Pacquiao has problems with, could have made the same statement of Maidana. Floyd always has a story, he pretends to be intelligent, literate, educated, which he's not. He's scared to death to lose to Manny Pacquiao, period. His whole career is centered around marketing & promoting his "0". Hence all the hand picking opponents and WHEN to fight them. He's a weasel. He admitted at this last presser, the media kept him relevant for 18 years. Oops, u probably didn't mean that Floyd, right. Your boxing hasn't kept you relevant that's for sure. Always has a story for not fighting Manny. You're scared to lose to him. What a weasel.

I get you. It's just unfortunate that between Ramadan and Mayweather's excuses, Khan may never face Floyd.
