What a joke of a fight and it would serve him well if he lost this fight.

With all the top names at 140 and 147....he is facing Algeria? Bob Arum is making a mockery of the sport.

Who could Pacquiao have fought other than Algeri and Abregu?

OP is correct. This is an awful styles match up and the Pacquiao of 2014 may not be able to handle it. Algeri isnt working with TR though, so there wont be any robbery against Pac. I'd bet on Algeri decision if I werent such a Pacquiao fan, but this is also the first Pac fight in years that I wont bet in favour of Manny.

****** fight, Pac gets no credit and could lose. I cant hold TR accountable though because Abregu would have been a worse fight. They had to do this fight.

The bad feeling meaning it may be bad matchmaking by Pacman's handlers? If that's the case then it isn't a bad feeling to me. I think CA is gonna pull off this here shocking upset but not an upset to me. Truth is he's all wrong for Pacman. A tall rangy fighter with good stamina, a strong ching and excellent feet? He needs to win.

Fact is Pacman has been stopped, is passed his prime and hasn't been the same in years. Now Floyd's looking interested in their fight. Some fans actually believe it'll be competitive. The ship has sailed on this fight and it'd be the biggest ppv farce if we the fans allow Floyd and Pacman to take us on this roller coaster ride that would be at the least 5 years too late.

98% of boxers struggle with movers but Manny especially ain't good at doing it. He resorts to lunging in off balance and it takes snap off his punches. Chris is very athletic and will keep moving all 12 rounds (and it will go 12).

It's just not going to be entertaining. And if a fight isn't entertaining, it at least has to be credible. This is neither.
Really don't understand this statement. There's only 2 fighters who've given PAC trouble since 2001. Morales and Marquez. No one else really.

And they're both not classic movers. Morales was a well sound boxer with solid fundamentals/IQ who could brawl and actually liked it.

JMM is a counterpuncher. I wouldn't even say he's that great of a mover. JMM gets hit but he does it to set up his counter attacks .

I would argue Bradley is more of a "mover" than JMM.

To say PAC struggles with movers is a myth. There's only JMM who's solved the PAC puzzle...that's it. You could say Morales too. But at the time, PAC wasn't as complete of a fighter in Morales Pac 1. He was just fearless, reckless with heart, with a devastating left.

i agree. i wanna lay down some huge cash on chris. anybody who knows boxing knows this is an easy win for him. the only thing thats preventing me from doing it is possible corruption. whether he gets the official nod or not though, chris is easily beating pac. im being 100% serious too
