He would most likely have a much easier night with Maidana than Floyd did, just like Floyd will always have an easier night with Marquez than Manny. It's just styles

Unless Maidana can catch Pacquiao coming in, which isn't that unlikely, Pacquiao is just all wrong for Maidana. Maidana definitely has a punchers chance and has improved a little when it comes to countering and timing.

Still, i doubt that fight ever happens either.

What does Maidana have bricks for feet now? Are you confusing him with Adrien Broner? Maidana would be in and out, light on his feet against Maidana, he would control the distance wih his jab and land big shots early and bully him to the ropes.
