Not really. One of the biggest supporters in hitting without getting hit is Mayweather Sr and even he said Lara ran. I think Lara did show ring generalship, he was controlling the pace of the fight with his movement. That still doesn't change the fact that he ran at times. When he was moving and actually throwing it was awesome, but there were times that i found myself yelling at the screen cause he would move and not throw a punch for like 30 seconds to a minute. That's freakin running.

Ok well, as I have said a couple times in different places, I need to go rewatch it because I admit I did watch it on a crap stream. I already have the fight but everytime I go to rewatch it, I end up watching another good fight in my collection, lol.

To me the double standard isn't relected with who you scored the fight for, the double standard to me is saying one fighter runs in one fight, and in another fight another fighter does essentially the same thing, and it gets called good ring generalship. Without getting into other details of who is throwing what shots while in movement and when, that's just plain double standards because the reasoning and the footwork used are the same.

cmon man floyd dont come close to lara in the running dept...maybe back in the days against guys like baldomir,but since he beat de la hoya he has been fighting in the pocket more then moving against virtually everyone after that fight...lara ran last saturday the most he has ever ran in his whole 23 pro fights combined.. no comparrison at all between the 2

why? was he sick? because he agreed to fight floyd at 130 because ariza assured him he could make 130 saftely... corrales just couldn't adjust to floyds movement thats all....and dont bring up no dumb stuff either, try to stay on subject.
