Canelo works SO much better against come-forward fighters than he does against boxers like Lara and Mayweather. Skilled as Cotto is, Canelo still has too much for him. Bad style matchup for Cotto.

Cotto is the hunter because he isn't facing Pacquiao, Margarito whom turn Cotto into the hunted. Martinez was never much of an aggressor.

Canelo would torch Cotto ..... In fact, I see Cotto getting on his bicycle as early as the sixth round to get away from the power-shots.

Here's the biggest problem for Cotto with or without Roach: Cotto is a sucker for the uppercut and Canelo throws one of the best I've seen since JMM, but with much added power. Cotto's consistent boxing stance makes him vulnerable to sweeping lefts\rights and uppercuts all night long. And he's too shop-worn to handle the pounding that Canelo can dish out.

Cotto also, isn't as fluid on his feet anymore and a stationary Cotto is just begging to get handled just like El Pero, by Canelo.

Easy fight to pick ..... Canelo by KO IF Cotto can't stay on his bike. If Cotto can stay on his bike then he might stretch it out to the eleventh.

Sadly, this fight and beating will be Cotto's retirement party.
