I got Stiverne all the way in this match up. Wilder is HYPE until he proves otherwise!

I like Stiverne too. If you put a gun to my head and said pick 1 or the other I'd pick him I reckon.

But Wilder, whilst heavily hyped, is no joke man.

The guy has fought and knocked out every single one of 31 opponents, and they might not have been A-classers but they weren't all THAT bad. I would venture that not every HW could achieve that.

He's long and fast and aggressive with deceptive timing and his power is real.

Any one of the top 10 who took him lightly would be morons.

The only 2 guys who I'd pick to bummify him would be Haye and Wlad because his skills are just so far below.

Too bad he had to go the classless route and take a gratuitous shot at the long-reigning champion Klitschkos.

"Robotic and impersonal"?

North America only wishes it had two such robotic and impersonal heavyweights over the last decade.

I don't really agree with either characterization. If the K-Bros are robotic, it must be a good thing, given their phenomenal success. And impersonal? Wlad is always friendly and joking around. Vitali just got elected mayor of a very large city in his homeland. Doubt he did it by being impersonal.

What such remarks really reek of are jealousy and resentment. Everybody knows that had the brothers hailed from these shores, such remarks wouldn't be made.

We'll see how Stiverne's success stacks up to that of either Klitschko. My guess is it won't come close. But he'll still knock out the hype job who counts failed NBA players, professional caddies, paid-off buddies, and other tomato cans as proof of his invincibility.

But when he comes up against Klitschko, Stiverne will be left laying on the mat, without his WBC belt.

Pulev will give Wlad a much harder time.

stiverne is an intelligent fighter and I think hes going to catch wilder making a mistake. against wlad hes fighting a guy even more intelligent than himself and he'll likely take a battering from the outside in that one. hes just not aggressive enough to beat wlad
