People are making it seems like Canelo is great, hes good but not great. The only thing great about Canelo is that hes young and taking on these hard fights back to back.

The only fighter Canelo ever wipedout was Angulo. The Lara fight was a draw, Trout fight he barely edged him out, and lets not forget Floyd took Canelo to school.


Kirkland stamina and pressure will make any fighter fight for their life.

Canelo would have to put James away early. If it goes past 3 rounds Kirkland will punish him. Actually this is the best time to go at Kirkland since he hasn't fought since December. Should he be Canelo's next opponent that'll be an 11 month layoff for James

Actually, yea he did. He even put himself on the ropes at times. With that said, Kirkland's defense is nothing like Mayweather's so not a very good example IMO.

Who wins and why?

Saul on paper out boxes him and punishes him from the outside and stops him by late TKO, but fights aren't fought on paper, Canelito has suspect conditioning, and suspect ring IQ. Kirkland is a warrior, similar to a poor mans Porter, but more limited, and behind Wolfe he is a monster, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Kirkland make Canelo do the booty dew dancing to a stoppage early if he catches him and Canelo isn't smart enough to get out of there.

Alvarez shines on this type of fighter. I cant think of any come forward fighter that can beat canelo

Who wins and why?

It depends. If Ann Wolfe is feeding her blood to Captain James Kirk on a weekly basis, then James is gonna KTFO of Canelo. If not, Canelo wins.

But Seriously, if Canelo doesn't put the light out of Captain Kirk, then Canelo will get ****ed.
