I was about to reference the Angulo fight, but that wouldn't be entirely accurate - Kirkland is nowhere near as durable as Angulo is and gets properly taken out (as opposed to an accumulation of punishment) a lot sooner.

The only fighter Canelo ever wipedout was Angulo. The Lara fight was a draw, Trout fight he barely edged him out, and lets not forget Floyd took Canelo to school.

Kirkland stamina and pressure will make any fighter fight for their life.
        Kirkland has a glass jaw

Canelo would have to put James away early. If it goes past 3 rounds Kirkland will punish him. Actually this is the best time to go at Kirkland since he hasn't fought since December. Should he be Canelo's next opponent that'll be an 11 month layoff for James

I didn't say Floyd didn't stand in front of canelo. I said floyd didn't stand in front of canelo and trade punches. its a difference between a defensive counter puncher standing in front of you and a offensive brawler standing in front of you. Kirkland aint mayweather.

Actually, yea he did. He even put himself on the ropes at times. With that said, Kirkland's defense is nothing like Mayweather's so not a very good example IMO.

If Canelo dosent stop Kirkland early, Kirkland stops him late.

Saul on paper out boxes him and punishes him from the outside and stops him by late TKO, but fights aren't fought on paper, Canelito has suspect conditioning, and suspect ring IQ. Kirkland is a warrior, similar to a poor mans Porter, but more limited, and behind Wolfe he is a monster, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Kirkland make Canelo do the booty dew dancing to a stoppage early if he catches him and Canelo isn't smart enough to get out of there.

Maidana would wreck him, if Canelo came down in weight. I would put my house on that.

It depends. If Ann Wolfe is feeding her blood to Captain James Kirk on a weekly basis, then James is gonna KTFO of Canelo. If not, Canelo wins.

But Seriously, if Canelo doesn't put the light out of Captain Kirk, then Canelo will get ****ed.
