I agree with this for the most part. If Kirkland doesn't knock Canelo out in the first 2 rounds, he's gonna make Canelo look like an animal. You just can't stand in front of Canelo and eat punches.

People are making it seems like Canelo is great, hes good but not great. The only thing great about Canelo is that hes young and taking on these hard fights back to back.

The only fighter Canelo ever wipedout was Angulo. The Lara fight was a draw, Trout fight he barely edged him out, and lets not forget Floyd took Canelo to school.


Kirkland stamina and pressure will make any fighter fight for their life.

Floyd didn't stand in front of canelo and trade punches. Floyd was making canelo miss. Kirkland will be trading punches and with his chin, he cant afford too stand and trade with canelo.

Go re-watch the fight, floyd stood right in front of him...Canelo was too scared to get countered so he tried to box. The point is Floyd stood in front and NO ANIMAL in Canelo was there.

What is Kirkland suppose to do in this fight then?? Out boxed Canelo? Kirkland offense is his only chance of winning this fight. This fight can go either way, either Canelo get him out out early or Kirland eat all of Canelo shots then walk him down and take his soul in the later rounds. Kirkland can keep throwing all the way to the end ,Canelo with his stamina issues can do the same?
