i didn't excuse it.

the fouls that i saw mayweather do was the pushing off with the forearm. I think thats a little different from getting bitten by maidana.........you guys are excusing the bite, the knees, the rabbit punching. the constant hip leg nut shots.

That's because that's what it is. It doesn't make it any less dirty, mind you. But Mayweather knows how to hide it from the ref while Maidana is a bit more blatant. Either way, it's dirty. This back and forth between Mayweather and Maidana beginning with today's presser reeks of hype. I think they both recognize (or have been told) that they'll need to play up the "bad blood" angle in order to make this rematch a lucrative one.

Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. Usually Floyd's pretty good at hiding it from the refs although not necessarily the cameras. But ok.

Maidana is right. He himself is a rough house fighter, no doubt..but Floyd has used elbows/forearms through-out his career.

I don't think he is. I've seen refs call it but never punish him. He just usually gets favourable treatment because of who he is. I think the last time he actually got reprimanded was the first JLC fight.
