As I said in the Floyd quote post both these mofo's are dirty fighters it's part of the game and we all know it. Can't call one dirty without calling the other one dirty. Combined they got like a hundred fights worth of video and more than abundant proof in those videos of both being dirty versus other opponents. Some people in boxing consider that a compliment.

I think they both recognize (or have been told) that they'll need to play up the "bad blood" angle in order to make this rematch a lucrative one.

I think Maidana's 'rabbit punches' were accidental(Floyd moves his head forward, etc.) wheareas Floyd's elbows were intentional. I'm surprised that more people don't note this. If Maidana throws a punch and then Floyd turns so his back gets hit.... that's Floyd's fault. And why in the hell is he complaining about getting hit on the hip? Where does he think the punches are going to land?
The most ridiculous part was Floyd against the ropes talking to the ref(like little brother A.B.) like being forced against the ropes is illegal. Floyd acts like being hit to the body is an illegal punch.
I think that Bernard is just like Floyd(they both bend/break/rewrite rules that normal people wouldn't even consider) It's just that Bernard's wins are way better(prime Pavlik, prime Trinidad, and so on). Bernard bent the rules and won some legendary matchups. Floyd bent the rules and beat... some good fighters.
Floyd did look sensational against Canelo though. Nobody can take that from him. No dirty fighting there.
Who knows. Boxing is dirty. Both fortunately and unfortunately.
