Pan-Africanist I love Maidana but Canelo is much better. Maidana's been beat by Devon Alexander, Khan, and even Kotelnik. Canelo beats all those guys, yes they're smaller, but hey he beats them. And Maidana struggled mightily against Josesito before finally dropping him. Canelo basically embarrassed Lopez no matter how hard he was trying to stay in the fight. We've only seen Canelo struggle against Trout and Lara where he won, and against MW. Everyone else he's dominated. You put Maidana vs Canelo and I'm betting that Canelo wins by KO easy.

Their is a difference.

Their is a reason Certain gloves are called punchers gloves i.e. Reyes, Everlast MX

and their a reason some Gloves are known for protecting a fighters hand like Winning, Grants Orthpedics (which mayweather wears) , Padlock

Their is a reason Mayweather paid Maidana 1.5 million to wear Padlock gloves.

I said Canelo was more skilled. But up to this point Maidana has had the better career as far as resume goes. He's fought the better opposition no question. He's looked far more dominate in his best wins. Maidana fought Lopez at his natural weight. He stopped Ortiz when he was a top contender. He **** all over Broner. Sure he's looked bad in some fights but that's what happens when you face top opposition. Nobodies calling him an ATG. I'm a fan of Canelo too but let's be real. He kept a bum like Trout in the fight.
