    I would say YES!

I think he was much more Cautions maybe TOO CAUTIONS in this fight because of what happened to him in the Angulo fight. But yes LARA had too many moments in which he was moving and avoiding punches but wasn't countering just running to safety. He lets his hands go just a little more than this fight is truly a Clinic and not even close IMO but instead he allowed Canelo to basically WORK HIS WAY back into the fight and allowed it to look much closer than what it should have been

You know it's running when you make the guy miss big and don't even return fire, the emphasis is put on finding an entirely different area code

How was Canelos face marked up if all Lara did was run? He even outlanded Canelo. It might be a slim margin, but how does someone who ran all night land more than the other guy?

I don't know, might have something to do with the fact that Canelo partakes in a sport called boxing

He 100% ran. Some reasons why:

                * He knows it is practically impossible for an opponent to look good when you use excessive movement. Whatever happens, Canelo wasn't gonna look good.

*It is the easy option. It is actually harder to stalk an opponent and break him down while avoiding the counters, which you can be susceptible to when you are off balance from running in trying to pin this dude down. Constantly moving whilst popping off 1-2s is not the skilled science people think it is. Lara got you fooled.

                * Lara could not handle the punching power and the body shots. He was unwilling to be punched.

                * They knew the pressure was on Canelo to make the fight entertaining. Lara felt he had no obligation to make the fight any sort of spectacle (even though in reality he did, cos he's never going on PPV again) and as such, was fine with running because it was on Canelo to find a solution.

What would have happened if Lara would have stood in front of Canelo? There's your answer. There is a reason why people don't stand and trade with Canelo, it's called getting that ass whipped, and I don't blame Lara for what he had to do. He didn't have an option, that was his only option.

                    great response.

Fact is Canelo isn't a complete fighter. Angulo and Molina caught Lara, why couldn't Canelo? Can't run as fast as Angulo or Molina?

So much for all that great sparring he was getting. Instead of going to a carnival they should've been focused on cutting off the ring.

Some people are acting (mostly this guy) like Canelo got hurt and took significant damage. You can argue the decision for either guy because it was a close fight, but you can't argue who did more damage. They are also using an extremely bad photo to make Canelo look worse off than he actually ended up. Pathetic ****.
