Lara wasted his opportunity. If he thought no one wanted to fight him before, now really no one gonna want to see him fight now.

Lara seems like a ****** guy. His trash talking got him this fight because he could say Canelo was afraid to fight him if he didn't fight him. Now he thinks more trash talking will get him a rematch and another multi million dollar payday. It won't. He can't say Canelo won't fight him because he just did. The world saw a poor fight that was due to Lara's hit and run style. Only dedicated Lara fans want to see a rematch. If he had thanked Canelo for the fight and praised him as a good fighter he might have a chance of getting rematch some day. By trashing Canelo and Oscar worse than ever and fighting such a defensive fight he made sure Canelo would never help him make money by rematching him. Lara is still a world champ and can make some money but he would make a lot more if he mix in more fighting with his boxing. He beat Trout better than Canelo did but the fans booed the fight while they didn't boo the Canelo-Trout fight.

well, i saw the outcome but wanted to get a general feel on how the fight went...we usually get the full spectrum of emotions but im reading ALOT of 'this fight ****** ass' comments

good for you...the boxing fan in you would've suckered you into buying the ppv at the last minute and you would've been disappointed by now

yup...at the time of the fight, i was seaside (malapit sa MOA) ordering scallops, lobster and crabs...sounds like a much better purchase than this stinker...i'll tune in a few rounds on saturday to see how much i can bear
