Gennady could reign for as long as Hagler did. He's no nonsense, no celebrity, just trains hard and fights often; that's very credible.
If cotto and canelo don't fight Golovkin, They are to be forever considered Chicken$h1ts

I'm a little worried if Canelo-Kirkland gets made..

Can someone tell me again how the **** Ishida stopped Kirkland in one round.. with what, THREE knockdowns? Jesus.

If the fight happens I would take Canelo. If the Cotto fight happens I will also take Canelo since Cotto gets hurt/shaken at least once in practically every fight now.

Lol...notice they said Canelo will fight Cotto after Kirkland. So they're assuming Kirkland will be easy work?

I mean that could very well be the case since JK has been on a long layoff and has no defense whatsoever other than his offense. But...when he's at the top of his game (full training camp with Wolf, no distractions) not many can out brawl him. In fact nobody has done that yet. I want to see Canelo-Cotto but I'm also itching for a Kirkland upset since Team Canelo is painfully underestimating him.

Lol at this ginger tryin' to turn Kirkland into a tune up. If Wolfe has his back Kirkland chews this ginger up and spits him out.

Kirkland has defense, depends on his opponent. Kirkland got knocked down 3 times in the first round because he has a cold chin, he needs like a round or 2 warm up, Ann Wolf never lwts him in the ring without a towel and a nice sweat - watch him, and the crazy thing with Kirkland is that he does not Gas out... he gets stronger and stronger with each passing round, my only worry would inactivity and they have to let smoger ref.

I just wonder how a potential bout between Cotto/Canelo which will be hosted on the same date of the Cinco de Mayo weekend will effect Floyd Mayweather Jr's fight? Especially in light of the fact, if the bout is hosted at the MGM Grand which is typically the venue of one of Floyd's bi-annual events, along with the month of September where he usually headlines his cards?

Now I can see why he may be applying for a promotional license with the NYSAC because of a potential conflict of interest with Golden Boy Promotions in general and Oscar De La Hoya in particular since his recent buddying up with Bob Arum.

Canelo will "Ishida" Kirkland and Cotto.

I think Quillen would've been a much more lucrative choice. Kirkland has no belt, and nothing to lose, plus he's a beast. Canelo doesn't need that in his life!
