I rather have PAC fight some random dude on the streets than to give this chump anymore money. Pac's next fight will be a flop anyways so it doesn't matter if it's against algieri or some random dude on the streets. The fight will not do well so what's the point of giving this white boy any more money. Let this fool reflect back at his career a few years later and watch him kick himself for over pricing

Are you kidding me? This guy is one fight removed from being a Friday night fighter and he's already making demands? **** outta here! Nobody wants to see this fight, Pac doesn't have much fights left in him, he needs to be fighting the best.Comment

So every other Floyd opponent gets a guarantee and a share of the PPV... EXCEPT Manny Pacquiao. Even Maidana is getting a PPV cut, but not Manny. Ortiz got a cut of the PPV, but not for Manny. Guerrero gets a piece of the PPV, but not for Manny... see where this is going? Manny's guarantee is $20 million on top of a PPV cut so it's safe to say he probably makes $30 out of a 1 million buy rate (Floyd's goes up this much as well.) Arum gets a cut of that, but being that he is still Manny's promoter, even if they get the fight done with Floyd, Arum by law is still entitled to his cut. So Manny would make $10 million more than his showings vs Bradley and maybe $5 million more than when he faced Marquez for the 4th time. That PPV would be $100 and sell 3 million or more and Manny doesn't get a PPV price lmao. Even Algieri is getting a cut of the PPV's gtfo.Actually, Algieir did the same thing manny -turn down an "opportunity of a lifetime". I mean, if you can turn a $40 mil payday down, whats the big deal about having someone turn you down when you offer $1.5 mil?
Both paydays are far more than the either will ever earn for a ifhgt-just sayin.Comment

you don't know how much ppv he is getting? Manny's max has been $28 mil according to published reports. So every other Floyd opponent gets a guarantee and a share of the PPV... EXCEPT Manny Pacquiao. I get your point about a fair cut of a massive fight. ALgieiri and his team are hinting at something similiar. Obviously, this fight isn't anywhere near as massive. I agree, algieri should take it-as I thought manny should.
The point is-its hard to criticize algieiri whoturns this fight down on principle when principle is the exact reason you said the $40 mil should be turned down, despite it being a "once in a lifetime opportunity" as well.Comment

I don't see any difference between turning down $40 million and turning down $1.5 million when both are more than you have ever made and ever will make in your career. Unfortunately, the Pac worshippers see this as a totally different situation.Comment

Neither Ortiz nor Guerrerro got a cut of the PPV in their fights against Mayweather. Everything else you said is moot after making those asinine comments. So every other Floyd opponent gets a guarantee and a share of the PPV... EXCEPT Manny Pacquiao. yeah, a one fight removed ESPN fighter and the #1 P4P fighter at the time refusing paydays is the same thing.

one can only hope something better is in store, pac vs. algeiri is nowhere near the best fight to be made. i would be disappointed. its actually has some risk but very little reward since algieri has only one notable win his entire careerComment
