There's no doubt this was a very close fight & some had it a small margin for Lara & others had it the same way for Canelo. That's not the problem, the problem is that in 3 of Canelos last 4 fights(Trout, Mayweather & now Lara) there's always a judge that see's what NO ONE ELSE SAW in Canelo's favor. Against Trout it was a very close fight yet Stanley Christoloudou had it 118-108(10 rounds to 2) for Canelo, Mayweather totally out boxed Canelo & CLEARLY won EVERY ROUND yet judge C.J. Ross had it 114-114(6 rounds a piece!) she retired after that(I guess to avoid an investigation) & this fight against Lara was also very close yet judge Levi Martinez had 117-111(9rounds to 3)for Canelo. It's like in fights of this magnitude someone is making sure that at least one judge REALLY FAVORS Canelo NO MATTER WHAT THE FIGHT IS LIKE!

      Good fight. Canelo won..

...and the cry babies will start whining. Wah Wah Wah you babies. The only guy that wins running is Mayweather. Oh, and it looks like Algieri went to that school too.

It is called fighting. And Lara did not remotely look like Froyd in his defense. He was cut and bleeding and didn't like it. The second biggest cry baby in boxing.

And cry babies go powder your butts and start looking for the next Fraud look alike. It is called fighting. Running is not a defense. Wusses.

I lost $300.00 believing that Lara was going to do what he kept repeating (now we know that the Cuban or his pupeteer only has a big mouth). I am totally disappointed because by running so much Lara looked like he was in survival mode most of the fight. I was thinking during this fight that if I was a judge I would be thinking that Canelo's body punches were so effective making Lara to backpedal scared of receiving more. There is a lot o subjective judging in boxing and the worst thing a boxer can do is to give the impression of being afraid or in survival mode and it is a matter of perception for judges to believe it. Lara ended up paying for his big inactivity offensively speaking and his exaggerated way of running to stay away from Canelo's punches. I guess Lara could continue being jealous and envious of what Alvarez do while still thinking that his amateur pedigree and amateur style is enough to win big fights.

Pretty much what I said in another thread.

That's really the worst part of all.

In any case I still think Lara deserved the nod, Canelo did not throw much more than Lara and landed way less.

You cannot win a fight with a few body punches and flashy combo's , or just because you're coming forward... if that was the case Maidana would be the WW champ by now.

Lara was pretty negative and made it worse for himself , but deserved to win nonetheless imo.

              Austin Trout fought Canelo better.

Look at all the crybabies on this board. Lara knew what he had to do to get a win. He just didn't have the nuts to go for it. Did he really think that style was going to get him a W? He should fire his corner, they were blowing smoke up his ass all night between rounds. After round 3 Canelo forced the action and was controlling the fight, Lara was just reacting. People act like Lara dominated the stats. He landed 10 more punches total. Over 12 rounds that is meaningless and not enough to beat the favorite. After all the **** he talked about ODL he should have gone back and watched his fight against Tito to see what not to do. *****....

                    Lara was robbed

No way canelo won. If anything a draw at best but giving lara an L on his record is ridiculous. Canelo had some good body work at times but didn't win.

It was pretty dangerous to only buy off one judge.
