Yeah, I agree. This happens all the time in boxing. De La Hoya made Mayweather wear those Heavyweight Reyes gloves when they fought. Morales made Pac wear Winning gloves first time they fought. It's not a big deal as long as the fighter knows what kind of gloves he's going to be using in advanced. Throwing a hissy fit the night before the fight because "they ain't have no padding" and bribing Maidana was pretty bad, but putting it in the contract 2 months before the fight is ok as far as I'm concerned.

it does matter now, coz the other warrior like morales tried to prove that its not about the gloves coz he allowed pac on the rematch, on this instance on Floyd-Maidana rematch, it only proves GLOVES DOES MATTER...

The hate for Mayweather doesn't make sense.

He made a demand, it was agreed upon. The majority of people complaining here are the same ones saying the Maidana rematch was a sorry choice and waste of a fight. If it's such a waste of a fight how is it that the gloves are the only reason Mayweather will win now. I guess before the gloves were announced it was a waste because there was "nothing for Mayweather to prove, he will beat Maidana more decisively" but now that the gloves were picked "Mayweather is a coward and is only going to win because of the gloves."

People find the most random reasons to hate on Mayweather. I swear all of you guys are perennial losers. You act like getting an edge on the competition is treason to the sport. Have any of you ever competed before? You're going to say you never tried to get a one up on an opponent ever before?

Let he who has never gotten an advantage ever in competition cast the first stone at Mayweather.

I guess by the same measure Jordan is a garbage cheater and disgrace to the sport of basketball because he won his last finals on an offensive foul and got a "Jordan call." Pac didn't allow to wear his puncher gloves in Morales vs Pac 1. In Morales vs Pac 2 & 3 Pac was allowed to wear his horse hair gloves and koed Morales twice. Floyd took the page on this book just like when asked Pac to drain his blood.
