    what if purses..

Were based on who wins/loses the fight ? For example the winner gets 1 million the loser 500k.would the fights be better and more exciting? Youd figure the fighters would try harder to get the winners purse and make for a better show.especially if they theow in a KO bonus

Knowing youre guaranteed a certein amount win lose or draw I think takes away from their efforts a bit and some cruise or just dont try hard enough.just my opinion what do you guys think ? Can this change the sport ?

What is jobs were set up like that?? you get paid according to how hard you work everyday, so if you have a bad day at work your pay is cut...would that be ok?

That will be extremely acceptable, Why should you be monetary rewarded for lack luster performance when you were hired to perform that task to a certain quality standard.

Thats a silly comment.how are you going to compare boxing with a regular 9-5 kind of gig.boxing is unique even compared to other sports.boxers dont get a weekly paycheck Or even a monthly salary.in a regular job like mine for example if I have a bad day that could mean im fired not just a pay cut..

Will never happen for the Top Fighters but for the up and coming fighters it would be a great idea!

I think KO Bonuses would be a bit more REALISTIC

              It can go both ways.

The guys who know they are winning will probably just dance the championship rounds away. No incentive for them to engage only the loser.

Should be a hefty reward for the best fight of the night, that will incentive it forever one involved. Promoters would put on great fights, the fighters will get a hefy reward and the networks will get great ratings.

I compared it because IT IS THEIR JOB!!!!! just like you have a job...right???? THIS IS WHAT THEY DO TO FEED THEIR FAMILIES.... it seems ya'll do not understand this..there is no difference except they get beat in the damn head for their money, have no job benefits and can not get workers comp..and boxers get fired all the time..I.E dropped from their promoter or network

That's a good point, I like the idea of the reward for the most entertaining match up of the card.
