Freddie said Khan did good for the first couple of rounds and after that, Pacquiao would take over. But hey, Khan battered the hell out of Diaz and Garcia so of course he can do it to Pacquiao.

maidana rebuilt himself with garcia after alexander, he stayed busy, broner was no tune up, like it or not he was the underdog in that fight and winning it help him to get a fight with floyd. khan beat maidana 4 years ago, so why not floyd just fights prescott? khan fought once in 2013, a crappy fight against a crappy opponent, how on earth floyd and manny ducked him?

          Pretty much this.

Only Floyd and Pac are worthy of fighting 'King Khan'.

Btw, when was Khan's last decent win?

          Judah?

I can't be the only one who actually thinks Thurman is basically nothing but an inferior version of the old Khan with more pop.
Just like him, even reacts horrendously bad when he gets clipped, panics & proceeds to do 18 laps of the ring.

I wouldn't at all be surprised if Khan beat Thurman pretty handily. He is the definition of overrated, his power is overrated too. He doesn't have one punch power or particularly game changing power.
Good power that comes from speed but he is noway near the devastating puncher he gets made out to be. In fact everything about him is overrated and the one thing that is probably underrated the most is his strongest asset and that is his speed.

i do believe that his power is legit but i agree with the bold, he looked like khan against soto karass, not a good sign

Sorry for Replying late Julio Diaz is a Former World Champion who was coming off a Draw against Shawn Porter its still a better win than Sotto Karas and Lopez and Maidana struggled against both Heck even GLASS JAWED Ortiz Dropped Maidana thrice in 2 rounds and Khan whooped his a**.

His best win is overhyped Broner who arguably lost the fight to Paulie and the fact that Maidana was the Underdog in that fight and it was considered a Upset just shows shot s**t Maidana is and NO WAY HE DESERVE TO FIGHT FLOYD TWICE,Maidana is a C+ fighter at Best.

Khan on the Other hand is miles ahead Maidana, look at his achievements Great Amateur Record (Knocked Out Victor Ortiz in Amateurs and beaten the Great Mario Kindlan) and is the youngest Olympic Medallist for Britain in Boxing also the Youngest World Champion also was the Unified Champ at 140.

Khan's resume ****s all over Maidana.

he struggled with both, yet he knocked out both of them.... with that logic we can say that khan struggled with maidana, right???? he got him hurt but ended up running for dear life, remember???

it doesn't matter, khan fought just once that year, performed bad (got KD and hurt in the process) if broner it's such a hype job why didn't khan pursued a fight with him (before chino got him) to secure a fight with floyd? broner was making a lot of noise, hype or not, chino beat him up and got the golden ticket, khan could've done the same, but he didn't. you know why? for the same reason he pulled off from the fight with devon, he knew that the possibilities of losing were big and that would ruin his chances of fighting floyd.

I think Thurmans a Khan with more power like Dan said, he doesnt know what to do when he is hurt, someone like Matthysse or Maidana would eat that up, heck even Danny Garcia would go in for the kill.

Thurman does have a better chin, but a chin can only take so much before it says goodnight.
