This is hella true. I was at the presser for Floyd vs. Shane in D.C. and Floyd got hella love there. Imma do all I can to be at the presser here in SATX (the countdown) to show love as well.

Floyd also had a lot of fans at the Canelo tour in Miami I was at.

In fairness it wasn't a big one compared to the other cities but still.

Was more annoyed about Guerrero to be honest, at least Maidana showed he could be competitive even if there are better opponents out there.

The Guerrero fight was embarassing as a boxing fan and a disgrace to the sport, so was Ortiz to be honest, neither deserved the shot. But to be one hundred like a C-note Pacman fighting Algieri is disgusting on a whole different level. It's shameful.

Any idea why they chose San Antonio instead of Houston? Is SATX more of a fight town?

In any case it's good to see that they're doing a press tour this time. There's more buzz created when people get to see Floyd come out to other cities besides just Las Vegas.

Predictions for the ppv numbers on this ??? Consider the fact that khan, broner, matthysse or danny garcia will not be available and almost everybody agrees that maidana did everything he possibly could the last time and still came up short, i reckon this is gonna flop, maybe not flop as bad as the proposed pacquiao vs algieri match but thats another story, really dont like where the sport is heading, after a brilliant 2013 he have really gone backwards this year

i don't see the point in the rematch,floyd won,there was no controversy or anything like that,yeah it was a good fight but just because of that doesn't mean every fight that's good should have a rematch,example juanma salido the first one,there was a bit of controversy because of the stoppage and people saying how juanma wasn't 100% prepared,or maybe if it was Floyd who lost I can understand the rematch,but not like this,he should have picked someone like keith thurman

I am but there wasn't a better viable option. It's not a bad fight though, should be fun.
