You need a solid straight right hand to beat Pacquiao and Algieri doesn't have that. In fact his right hand, the way he throws it is telegraphed and plain weird. Not sure how Pacquiao will look but he isn't losing this fight, that's for sure.

If anything Algeri is preparation towards Mayweather. Algeri may not have the credentials but definitely has the skill set to teach Manny how to deal with a boxer with lateral movement and intelligence somewhat close to Floyd's.
